This type of scrubber is most commonly used for the removal of noxious gases from airstreams. It is designed for high-efficiency collection and low-pressure drop using our patented Tellerette® Tower Packing. The vertical design has a relatively small footprint making it ideal for applications where floor space is at a premium. The availability of standard models reduces engineering and drafting time, but custom configurations are also available. Both 300 CFM and 2,500 CFM Pilot Test Units are available for rental.

Packed Tower Features:

• Capacities from 20 to 100,000 ACFM.
• Utilizes high-efficiency Tellerette® Tower Packing for removal of soluble/reactive gases and liquid droplets down to 7 microns.
• Lower portion of shell serves as integral sump for recycle liquid.
• Single spray nozzle liquid distributor for minimum fouling.
• Utilizes Tellerette® packing or chevron blade entrainment separators to prevent liquid carryover.
• Special multi-bed designs can accommodate different scrubbing solutions for removal of multiple contaminants.
• Can be customized for special applications.
